A little more about me

Hello there, I'm
Dr. Raveena Manga

Hi! I’m Raveena. I qualified from the University of the Western Cape with my BChD (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) in 2015. After completing my community service in Kimberley, I transitioned into private practice, where I have continued to grow and refine my approach to patient-centred care.

In 2018, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Dentistry (PDD) with a focus on paediatrics, deepening my commitment to supporting children through their formative years. My passion for integrative health led me to deepen my understanding and appreciation of the human body, and I am now able to weave Pneumanity™ Breathwork into my approach and perspective. Breath is foundational to life, development, regulation & healing— and I love empowering families to understand how something so simple can be so transformative.

I am deeply committed to providing high-quality, thoughtful dentistry that honours each individual’s unique needs, circumstances, and stage of life. I believe treatment should never be one-size-fits-all. Every plan is carefully tailored to the child and family in front of me – considering not only clinical findings, but affordability, lifestyle, and long-term wellness goals.

Dr Raveena Manga | About

Collaboration is central to my philosophy. I encourage parents and patients to be active participants in their care and strongly believe that everyone deserves to feel respected, informed, and empowered in their health decisions. I take time to explain all available options, gently guiding families through the benefits and considerations of each, so that decisions feel confident and aligned.

My love for paediatrics has only deepened since becoming a mom to my dream little girl in 2023 – a role that has softened and expanded my perspective in the most meaningful ways. Motherhood has enriched my empathy and strengthened my desire to create calm, positive, and happy experiences in my rooms. One of my greatest joys is walking alongside families over time — watching parents grow into their roles with confidence, and witnessing children flourish into their fullest potential.

My practice is about so much more than teeth. It is about connection, education, prevention, airway awareness, and supporting the whole child — one gentle step at a time.

Meet the Team

Dr Ash

Asheeqah — affectionately known as Ash — qualified as a dentist from the University of the Western Cape in 2019. I entrusted her with the practice just before I went on maternity leave in 2022, and she has since become an absolute favourite among our patients. Ash is a brilliant and meticulous general dentist with a special passion for conservative, restorative, and paediatric dentistry. She approaches each patient with thoughtfulness and precision, always prioritising gentle, minimally invasive care that supports long-term oral health. What truly sets her apart is her warmth. She is loving, compassionate, and wonderfully chatty — with a natural ability to put both children and adults completely at ease. Ash consistently goes the extra mile to ensure every visit feels calm, supported, and positive. Outside of the practice, she is an incredible wife and devoted mother to her squishy baby boys, who we are all completely obsessed with. Motherhood has only deepened her empathy and strengthened the tenderness she brings into her work. Ash provides exceptional patient care and unwavering quality in everything she does, and I am endlessly grateful to have her as part of our team.

Zainab, affectionately known as “the fairy” of the practice, brings a soft and gentle touch to her work. A 2019 graduate from the University of the Western Cape, she honed her skills during her community service year in Kimberley, serving the military. In the office, she keeps things fun while delivering top-notch care, with a focus on conservative, preventative, and pediatric dentistry. Outside of work, she channels her creativity through painting and drawing, and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, scenic walks, and cycling. Zainab is an absolute joy to have at the practice, bringing immense value through her skill, warmth, and dedication to patient care. Her presence not only enhances the team’s dynamic but also elevates the overall experience for our patients.

Dr Aqeelah

Dr Aqeelah Soeker graduated as a dentist in 2019 and completed her community service year at Galeshewe Day Hospital in Kimberley. She enjoys being a generalist and has developed a wide range of interests within dentistry. She has a passion for restorative work, particularly aesthetic cases, and has recently delved into biometric dentistry and the align, bleach, bond workflow. Periodontics is another area she finds fulfilling, especially the challenge of restoring oral health to its foundation and understanding how systemic diseases influence oral health—a curiosity sparked by her experience treating older patients. Outside of work, Aqeelah embraces her creative side through a variety of crafting hobbies. She loves cross-stitching, embroidery, crocheting, scrapbooking, and journaling. While she describes herself as introverted, she finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends, often in relaxed settings—usually on someone’s couch 👵🏽 Aqeelah has settled seamlessly into the practice this year, quickly building strong connections with both the team and our patients. Her approachable nature and skill have made her a favourite among patients, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of the team.
